WHere is a simplified take on a drink from the seasonal drinks list. Designed as a party-sized premix which is loaded full of tastes of a holiday season, which makes it perfect for your holiday party. Reserve the remaining syrup to use in morning drinks, desserts, or for more rounds of bikinis.

Yields 10 guests
For the Clementine Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g caster sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Method
To prepare the Cordial: Combine the listed ingredients inside a pan, bring to a light boil, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, take off the heat and let it to reach room temperature entirely. Transfer into an clean bottle, close it keeping it in the fridge, it can be stored for up to one month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Mix every liquid ingredients in a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for one hour, then filter it , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of the cocktail base into a stirring glass filled with ice, and stir carefully for one minute to chill. Pour into an chilled martini glass or similar, decorate with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz with the mandarin essence over the top.
